Pilates Exercises

An exercise methodology first formulated by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century. Pilates Exercises improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the whole body.

It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. Pilates’ system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to advanced. Progression starts with mat based lessons to teach and master the foundations and can progress up to the use of specialized equipment.

Pilates Exercises is also available on a one to one basis. Pilates movements are now incorporated worldwide into the conditioning of elite athletes and heavily used by physiotherapy professionals to aid in rehabilitation work.

Available at Selected Clubs as a class and also using the Pilates Reformer.

Special Individual or Team Sessions on the Pilates Reformer are also available as a package at selected clubs. Contact your Club to know more.
